Camera/Microphone permissions

This section helps with troubleshooting your microphone and camera if the below is present:

  • Microphone not working
  • Camera not working
  • Blank screen

Chrome on Desktop

Step 1Click on the icon in the address bar at the top of the page.
Step 2Go down to the labels marked 'Camera' and 'Microphone' and make sure they are set to 'Allow'.

Reload the page for the changes to take effect.

Firefox on Desktop 

Step 1
Click on the info icon in the address bar at the top of the page.
Step 2
Go down to Permissions and ensure that 'Use the Microphone' and 'Use the Camera' are set to 'Allowed'.

If they're 'Blocked', removed them from Permissions and reload the page.

Safari on Desktop 

Step 1Go the menu bar and click on 'Safari' > 'Preferences'.

Step 2
Go to 'Websites' and click on 'Camera'. Find 'live.vieple.com' in the list and ensure it's set to 'Allow'

Step 3
Go to 'Microphone', look for 'live.vieple.com' in the list and ensure it's set to 'Allow'.

Step 4
Close the Preferences window and reload the page.



Edge on Desktop

Step 1
Click on the lock icon in the address bar at the top of the page.
Step 2
Go down to 'Website permissions' and ensure that the 'Microphone' and 'Webcam' are set to 'On'. Reload the page for the changes to take effect.
